Refund Policy

This Refund Policy is a standalone document and should be read alongside our Returns Policy, Terms & Conditions, and Shipping & Delivery Policy, all available on the Platform. This Policy forms part of the binding agreement between you and Daily99.
1. Overview and Commitment
DAILY99 COMMERCE PRIVATE LIMITED (“Daily99”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to processing refunds promptly, transparently, and fairly. This Refund Policy sets out the circumstances in which you are entitled to a refund, the method and timeline for refund processing, and any applicable conditions or deductions.
Daily99 processes refunds in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019; the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020; the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007; and all other applicable laws of India. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this Policy.
This Policy applies to all purchases made on the Daily99 Platform, whether from Daily99 Direct or from third-party Vendors. Vendor-specific refund terms (where displayed on the product listing) supplement this Policy for the relevant product.
2. When You Are Entitled to a Refund
You are entitled to a full or partial refund in the following circumstances:
2.1 Approved Returns
Where a product return is approved in accordance with our Returns Policy (within the 7-day return window, in original condition, with all original packaging and accessories), a full refund of the product price paid will be issued.
2.2 Order Cancelled Before Dispatch
If you cancel your order before it has been dispatched by Daily99 or the Vendor, a full refund of the total amount paid (including any applicable shipping charges) will be issued without requiring a return.
2.3 Order Cancelled by Daily99 or Vendor
If Daily99 or a Vendor cancels your order for any reason (including product unavailability, pricing error, fulfilment failure, or payment processing issues), a full refund of the total amount debited will be issued automatically without any action required on your part.
2.4 Failed Payment — Amount Debited but Order Not Confirmed
If your bank account or payment instrument is debited but your order is not confirmed on the Platform (due to a payment gateway timeout, network failure, or processing error), the debited amount will be reversed automatically by your payment provider or Daily99’s payment gateway within 5 to 7 business days. Daily99 does not retain any such amount.
2.5 Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Product
If you receive a product that is: (a) defective or not functioning as described; (b) damaged in transit; or (c) materially different from the product ordered (wrong item, wrong size, wrong colour), you are entitled to a full refund upon raising a valid return request within 48 hours of delivery and approval of the claim.
2.6 Product Not Delivered
If your order is marked as delivered by the logistics partner but you have not received the product, please report the non-delivery within 48 hours of the marked delivery date by contacting us at support@daily99.com. Upon investigation, if non-delivery is confirmed, a full refund or re-dispatch will be arranged at Daily99’s discretion.
2.7 Product Unavailable After Payment
If a product becomes unavailable after your payment has been processed but before dispatch, a full refund will be issued and you will be notified without undue delay.
3. Refund Method
All approved refunds are credited to the original payment instrument used for the purchase. We are unable to process refunds to a different account, card, UPI ID, or payment method than the one originally used.
- UPI payments: refunded to the originating UPI ID;
- Debit card payments: refunded to the originating debit card and bank account;
- Credit card payments: refunded to the originating credit card account;
- Net banking payments: refunded to the originating bank account;
- Platform Coins / Credits: if originally paid using Daily99 Coins or platform credits, the refund will be re-credited to your Daily99 account;
- Partial payments (COD + prepaid): each component is refunded through its original channel.
Daily99 does not issue refunds in cash under any circumstances. Refunds are always returned to the original source of payment.
4. Refund Timelines
The following timelines apply from the date on which the refund is initiated by Daily99 (which is after return approval, order cancellation confirmation, or failed delivery confirmation, as applicable):
UPI → 2 to 3 business days
Typically processed within 48 hours; some UPI handles may take up to 72 hours.
Debit Card → 5 to 7 business days
Timeline depends on your issuing bank’s processing cycle.
Credit Card → 7 to 10 business days
Refund appears on your next billing cycle or within 10 days; contact your card issuer if not reflected.
Net Banking → 3 to 5 business days
Credited directly to the originating bank account.
Daily99 Coins / Credits → Within 24 hours
Credited instantly to your Daily99 account balance upon approval.
Failed Payment Reversal → 5 to 7 business days
Processed by your payment provider or bank; contact your bank before escalating.
These timelines are estimates from the date of refund initiation by Daily99. Actual receipt of funds depends on your bank or payment provider’s processing time. Daily99 has no control over delays on the recipient bank’s side after the refund is initiated. If you have not received your refund within the stated timeline, please first check with your bank or card issuer.
5. Shipping Charges and Refunds
5.1 Original Shipping Charges
Original shipping charges paid at the time of purchase are refunded in full in the following cases:
- The order is cancelled by Daily99 or the Vendor before dispatch;
- The product is confirmed as defective, damaged in transit, or incorrectly delivered;
- The product is not delivered despite being marked as delivered.
In all other return scenarios (e.g., customer-initiated returns for change of mind or preference), original shipping charges are non-refundable unless otherwise stated on the product listing page.
5.2 Return Shipping Charges
Reverse pickup for eligible returns is arranged by Daily99 at no cost to you in most cases. Where self-return (customer drop-off) is required, reasonable shipping costs up to Rs. 100 per return shipment will be reimbursed upon submission of proof of shipment. Please refer to our Returns Policy for full details.
6. Partial Refunds
A partial refund may be issued in the following cases:
- Only some items in a multi-item order are returned or are eligible for refund;
- The returned product does not fully meet the return conditions in our Returns Policy (e.g., missing accessories, minor damage caused after delivery) — the refund amount will be adjusted to account for the diminished value;
- A coupon, discount, or promotional credit was applied to the original order — the refund will be for the amount actually paid, not the pre-discount price.
You will be informed of the partial refund amount before it is processed, and you will have the opportunity to raise a dispute if you disagree with the assessed amount.
7. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- The return request is initiated after the applicable Return Window has expired;
- The product falls within the non-returnable category as listed in our Returns Policy;
- The product has been used, worn, washed, damaged, or tampered with after delivery;
- Original packaging, tags, accessories, or documentation are missing at the time of return;
- The product defect or damage was caused by misuse, accident, or unauthorised modification after delivery;
- The return request is rejected following product inspection at our warehouse or Vendor facility;
- Digital products, redeemable vouchers, platform credits, or gift cards that have been activated, used, or disclosed.
8. Lucky Draw Entries and Refunds
Draw Entries awarded as a complimentary benefit on a qualifying purchase are subject to the following rules upon refund:
- If a full refund is issued (whether due to cancellation, return, defective product, or non-delivery), all Draw Entries associated with the refunded order are cancelled and deducted from your account balance at the time of refund processing.
- If a partial refund is issued, Draw Entries are deducted on a proportionate basis corresponding to the refunded amount.
- Draw Entries that have already been used in a completed and finalised daily draw cycle cannot be recalled. However, this does not affect your entitlement to a refund of the product price — the refund and any draw outcome are treated as independent events.
- Daily99 Coins redeemed against the refunded order will be re-credited to your account upon refund approval, provided the Coins have not been further applied or transferred.
Draw Entries have no monetary value and their cancellation upon refund does not constitute a deduction from the product refund amount. Your refund is always for the full amount paid for the product (or partial amount as applicable), regardless of Draw Entry status.
9. Refunds for Vendor Products
For products fulfilled by third-party Vendors on the Daily99 marketplace, refunds are managed centrally by Daily99 on behalf of the Vendor. The refund timelines and methods described in this Policy apply equally to Vendor product refunds. Vendor-specific terms displayed on the product listing may supplement (but not reduce) your refund entitlements under this Policy.
Vendors are required to cooperate with all valid refund requests processed through the Platform. If a Vendor disputes a return and the dispute affects your refund, Daily99 will investigate and mediate. During the investigation period (up to 7 business days), your refund may be held pending resolution. You will be notified of the investigation and its outcome.
10. Refund Disputes and Escalation
10.1 Raising a Dispute
If you disagree with a refund amount, a refund rejection, or have not received a refund within the stated timeline, please contact Daily99 customer support at support@daily99.com or daily99official@gmail.com with your Order ID, refund reference number (if provided), and details of your dispute.
10.2 Escalation to Grievance Officer
If your dispute is not resolved by customer support to your satisfaction, you may escalate it to our Grievance Officer:

We will acknowledge your escalation within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you remain dissatisfied, you may approach the relevant consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or file a complaint on the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission portal (edaakhil.nic.in) or the Consumer Helpline (consumerhelpline.gov.in).
11. Fraudulent Refund Claims
Daily99 employs fraud detection mechanisms to identify and investigate suspicious refund requests. Any attempt to fraudulently claim a refund — including false claims of non-delivery, damage, or return eligibility; returning a different product from the one ordered; or any other misrepresentation — will result in:
- Immediate rejection of the refund claim;
- Suspension or permanent termination of your account;
- Forfeiture of all accumulated rewards, Draw Entries, and Coins;
- Recovery of any refunds already processed in error;
- Civil and/or criminal proceedings where applicable under Indian law.
12. Changes to This Refund Policy
Daily99 reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. The revised Policy will be published on the Platform with an updated “Last Updated” date. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
